Saturday Night by Seth Leeper

Saturday Night

In a past life, I looked down
from a star, wishing to apparate
in the streets, only to learn
life is a lot of posturing and stepping
out of the way.
I keep trying to uncenter myself
from these narratives,
but my face keeps appearing
in the window.
