POEM IN WHICH GOD TALKS TO ME
I’m working really hard
up here. Everything I do
is for the family. I’ve heard
your prayers. Enough

I love the whole “In Which” series, as if a poem is a machine, say, in which it actually gets to perform a task. So good to see this one.
Love the humor in this poem.
Love the voice of this god – so relatable!
