floating in a shallow bowl
adorning my window sill
glowing golden now
luminous in waning
a beauty

Love Donna Hilbert’s work, and this poem represents a lyrical side to her, an interesting direction for her imagination.

Pure Magic
So much beauty in a few short lines.
Donna’s poetry and photography are both so observant, and this poem really is visual to me, but also has a philosophical dimension. So much to ponder in such a short poem!
