A Pixel by Van Gogh
– On Recollecting « Starry Night » –

A pixel
On the inner eye
Waiting
Through a spot of oil
To join the whole,
To flair out
At brush’s end
Into a streaming swirl
Of stars at night,
To dance
Among the other strokes
And gladden boldly
Someone else’s eye.
