It’s how we say there’s always more to say
but yes, we know the reader’s life is busy
with bills to pay, goldfish to feed, guitar
to be restrung, the stove to wipe, etc.
It’s just a frank acknowledgement
that we can only catalog so much
before we go ballistic. Far better a
simple sign, a truce, in short…
