*HORSE-DRAWN*
To pull
down the ponied
yellow dawn
like the cord
the blinds dangle,
the line that snaps
the horizontals
tight, & what
else
should we make
sure of?
The expectation
is emotion,
but not all
are desired.
Who wants
“What good
am I? What
use?”? Art
invites the sign
across the street
that says,
“Open During
Construction,” but
all I can think of
is Calamity
Jane-ing
out the window
into gallop.
